Fire station upgrade

Otorohanga Fire Station underwent a significant upgrade, we completed the structural engineering design. The upgrade included the demolition of the Appliance Bay and construction of a new larger one to fit three appliances. Earthquake strengthening was completed to the remaining original 1955 building to increase the seismic rating to greater than 67%NBS as an Importance Level 4 (IL4) structure.
